  • Overview

    The Fresh Market currently has an opening for a Construction Administrator to be based at our Corporate Office in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our Construction Administrator supports the construction team as necessary for successful completion of The Fresh Market capital program including new stores, remodels and maintenance capital projects.  This position will report to the Director of Construction.


    • Contract Administration
      • New vendor setup
      • Contract creation for general contractors and vendors
      • Review of contract documentation; requests for payment, lien releases, certificates of insurance, closeout documentation, etc.
    • Project Management Software Database Administration
      • System support administration to include assisting in new user training
      • Account maintenance and contact maintenance
      • Management of contracts and invoices within the system
      • Escalation of system issues with software provider
      • Creation of Bid packages
    • Construction Accounting Administration
      • Capital expenditure requests and tracking
      • Coordinate invoice tracking, processing and payments between accounting systems and Project Management Software
      • Construction cost accrual updates
    • Project Management Administration
      • Full administrative support for project management and development team
      • Construction project tracking and task updates
      • Meeting minutes, updates and distribution



    • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field of study.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe/Bluebeam.
    • Experience with Microsoft Project and Construction Management Software a plus.
