  • Overview

    The purpose of the Onboarding Specialist is to provide a key role in HR compliance as it specifically applies to I9 compliance and onboarding our new employees.  In this role, onboarding means the timely completion of new hire tasks such as attending e-learning courses, completing TFM paperwork and being provided key policy information.

    Responsibilities

    • Tracker dashboard management, including
      • Pro-actively monitoring any expiring employment authorization documents and notifying the stores and affected employees of the expiring document. This task includes understanding the employment of non-U.S. citizens.
      • Managing the timely purging of I9’s for terminated employees
      • Monthly clean-up of the I9’s to remove unneeded I9’s
      • Providing the SR HR Compliance Coordinator and field management monthly and ad hoc compliance reports
      • Providing access to the system for new or promoted store management
      • Work with vendor to address any issues that may arise
      • Coordinate the Tentative Non-Confirmation process
    • iCIMS/Tracker support for stores, Talent Acquisition team and HR Service Center, including delivering written and verbal customer service responses, ranging from routine to complex, for individual I9 and/or iCIMS issues
    • Provide training to store management on the use iCIMS and Tracker
    • Other compliance and customer service duties as assigned, including back up administration of the background check process and Talent Acquisition Coordinator support

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to handle complex customer service issues in a professional manner, exercising good judgment in dealing with sensitive issues.
    • Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and customer service response standards.
    • Strong Excel skills and advanced skills in the Tracker system
    • An Associate degree or equivalent experience.
