  • Overview

    The Operations Research Analyst works as part of the Field Operations team to help drive business performance by leveraging data to create impactful analysis and reporting. 

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare analysis to support ongoing store operations using disparate data sources, including product movement and store level financial and merchandising data
    • Analyze components of retail operations including shrink, departmental and store sales, merchandise, etc… and provide results to leadership
    • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to Field Operations leaders
    • Develop, manage and monitor key performance indicators
    • Provide business partners with ongoing financial insight into operational performance
    • Develop tools to enhance analysis and reporting procedures
    • Provide ad hoc analysis on shrink and merchandise trends
    • Develop and manage predictive shrink models
    • Provide analysis and tracking on store shrink trends and opportunities

    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

     

    Required Education & Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or related quantitative field
    • Experience in financial modeling, planning and/or analysis preferred
    • Understanding financial statements and drivers that influence the P&L
    • Previous experience in Grocery/Retail preferred
