    The Fresh Market currently has an opening for a temporary Corporate Recruiter for a 4-5 month assignment in our corporate office in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Corporate Recruiter will lead efforts to effectively recruit best in class talent for corporate positions.


    This position will directly impact the quality of candidate we hire by sourcing and prescreening top quality talent in the marketplace. We need a social savvy recruiter to support our aggressive hiring goals and share our culture and vision with each candidate.


    The selected candidate will develop and deliver recruiting strategies that ensures The Fresh Market selects the very best candidate while providing an exceptional candidate experience for all level positions through researching and sourcing channels and will build and sustain talent communities.


    • Lead hiring strategy discussions with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand the business, assess hiring needs, develop selection criteria, create recruitment strategies, and manage searches through the recruitment life cycle.
    • Provide consultation to hiring managers for final selection of candidates and develop offer recommendations using tools and guidelines.
    • Contribute to recruitment development projects and other members of the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement innovative search techniques to meet and exceed the requirements of the business.
    • Act independently to proactively identify problem areas impeding the success of a search and create/implement solutions to resolve.
    • Ensure organizational compliance with laws and regulations related to recruiting.
    • Balance a requisition load of 10-20 positions while maintaining a high level of communication to hiring managers.
    • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience.


    • Full cycle recruitment experience of all levels of employees from entry level to Senior Leadership positions.
    • 5+ years demonstrated track record of success and customer satisfaction in a high volume recruiting environment
    • Demonstrated consultative and solution oriented approach to filling vacancies
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: friendly, tactful, good negotiator, ability to influence others
    • Experience with ATS (applicant tracking systems) applications, iCIMS a plus
    • Proven ability to collaborate with hiring managers, business leaders, and human resources to gain a deep understanding of department culture and business strategy to ensure identified talent is well suited to the role
    • Sense of urgency
